Teresa Ann Kelsey

 Teresa Ann Kelsey, 65, of Bonner Springs, Kansas, formerly of Louisville, Kansas, passed away on Thursday (April 17, 2025) at her home with her family at her side.

  Born September 20, 1959 in Wamego, Kansas, Teresa was the daughter of Thomas Ellis and Juanita L. (Kohler) Lamkin.  Following the death of her father, Juanita married John L. Habluetzel who helped raise her and who she thought of as her father.

  On November 9, 1984, Teresa married James D. “Jim” Kelsey in Wamego.  He survives.

  Active in the Louisville and Wamego communities, she was a member of the Wamego Senior Center and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years.  She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Teresa enjoyed Bingo, playing pool, playing cards and board games with family and friends, and especially loved family cookouts.  She never missed her son's or grandchildrens school activities and sporting events.  For many years, she made jewelry jars and sold those along with other collectibles she would pick up at auctions at flea markets in the area.

  Teresa was employed as a legal secretary and assistant at the law office of John D Watt for 39 years.  She also worked for several different auction companies over many years.

   Surviving is her husband, Jim; her mother, Juanita Habluetzel of Basehor, KS; two sons, Dustin Kelsey (Lucinda) of Bonner Springs, KS and Joe Kelsey (Crystal) of Miltonvale, KS; four grandchildren, Aston, Kaiya, Sheyenne, and Emily; and a brother in law, Robert Kelsey (Sharon) of Wamego.

  Memorial services will be held Thursday morning (April 24, 2025) at 11:00 at Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home in Wamego with Pastor Jol Klein officiating.  Inurnment will be in the Louisville Cemetery, Louisville, KS.

  Visitation will be Thursday morning (April 24, 2025) from 10:00 until the time of services at 11:00 at the funeral home.
