Manhattan City Commissioners have adopted both a resolution and an ordinance pertaining to the parking garage in Aggieville. It comes ahead of a future effort to improve Moro Street.

The resolution would eliminate hourly and daily parking rates while the ordinance would end park mobile registration and nose-in parking requirements. There would also be a 48-hour time limit for parking in the garage.. This would become effective June 1.

This could all create more convenient parking. The upcoming Moro Street project will create a need for more parking in the garage. The Aggieville Business Association also supports the effort.
