MANHATTAN - On Thursday, June 1st the Riley County Police Department announced a 45-year-old Manhattan man had been arrested in connection with two previously unreported stabbings.
On Wednesday, May 31st, RCPD officers arrested 45-year-old Jarman Morgan of Manhattan in connection with two previously unreported stabbings which occurred during the summer month in 2020 and in the spring of 2021 in Manhattan.
Morgan was arrested on Riley County District Court warrants for two counts each of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery.
He has previous convictions for aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, theft, burglary, disorderly conduct, DUI, violations of the offender registration act and for drugs, according to the Kansas Dept. of Corrections. He has been listed as a registered Kansas drug offender since March of 2018.
Morgan is confined to the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $100,000.
