Manhattan, Kan. February 6, 2026 – The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Russ Briggs as the 2025 Lud Fiser Citizen of the Year. The award was presented during the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on February 6 at the Manhattan Conference Center.
Named in honor of Lud Fiser, the Chamber’s longtime president from 1948 to 1975, this award is given annually to an individual whose contributions have significantly enhanced the quality of life and vitality of the Manhattan community. Russ Briggs becomes the 56th recipient of this prestigious honor.
