-- Due to winter weather in the area, Geary USD 475’s Site Council meeting originally scheduled for Monday at 6 p.m. has been postponed. The meeting will be rescheduled for a later date and time.
-- Grandview Plaza City Hall is closed today, Monday, Jan. 26.
--Kansas State University: Online classes meet as scheduled. In-person classes scheduled to begin before 10 a.m. will not meet. Please contact instructors if you have questions about a class.
Faculty and staff should report by 10 a.m. Employees should contact direct supervisors with questions. For Manhattan campus: Chester E. Peters Recreation Center, K-State Student Union, Lafene Health Center and Counseling and Psychological Services will resume operations at 10 a.m. on Jan. 26. For those commuting to the Manhattan campus, Anderson Ave. between Sunset and Connecticut Aves. remains closed.
City of Manhattan anticipates it opening in the afternoon of Jan. 26.
--Both the Concordia and Geary County Campuses of Cloud County Community College will operate on a 2-hr delay Monday. The Geary County Campus will open at 10am. 8am and 9am classes will NOT meet.
--USD 320 Wamego Schools Closed Due to inclement weather, ALL USD 320 schools are closed Monday, January 26.
--Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All athletic and after school activities are canceled.
--JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - Geary County Schools USD 475 will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26 due to the winter weather in the area. All athletic and after-school activities have been canceled. We look forward to seeing our students and staff back in our schools on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
--Due to continuing weather conditions, Fort Riley will delay normal operations, with a 9:30 a.m. work call for Soldiers and civilians Monday. Individuals should verify reporting times with supervisors.
Irwin Army Community Hospital and all medical and dental clinics will be open with all services available. Patients can reschedule appointments by calling 785-239-3627.
Child Development Centers will open at 8 a.m. The 24-hour gyms will be open, and all other fitness centers will open at 9:30 a.m. All gates will be open Monday during normal operating hours.
