GEARY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 5:30p.m. Tuesday in Geary County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Nissan Frontier driven by Lakota Allen Poe, 23, Bronaugh, Montana, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just west of the Kansas 57.
The driver lost control of the pickup as it traveled over a patch of ice. The vehicle struck the center guardrail.
EMS transported a passenger Sirinity Pritchard, 18, Junction City, to Stormont Vail in Junction City. Poe was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
