RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating an alleged scam in Riley County.
Just after 8:30p.m. Wednesday, officers filed a report of theft by deception in the 14000 block of Grandview Drive in Randolph, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 36-year-old man reported he sent money electronically to an unknown suspect who was impersonating a police officer who said payment was required on a warrant.
