
According to the Riley County Health Department, two Riley County residents have passed away after testing positive for COVID-19 since October 20.

A 61-year-old unvaccinated female tested positive on October 10 and died November 5 at Via Christi Hospital.
A fully-vaccinated 82-year-old male tested positive on November 1 and died November 7.
Their deaths bring the total number of COVID-related deaths in the county to 62.
Riley County has identified 120 new positive Coronavirus cases and 30 additional recoveries since the last report on November 3, 2021.
In Riley County, since December, there have been a total of 256 positive cases from variants of concern.
Five COVID-positive patients are currently under care at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan. Four patients, one of whom is fully vaccinated, are on the medical floor. One unvaccinated patient is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
