UPDATE: RCPD says as of 10:00 am the crash scene was cleared and the roadway was reopened.
RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8:30a.m. Wednesday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Infiniti G driven by Thedore Thomas, 66, Junction City, was eastbound on Kansas 18 approximately a mile west of Seth Child Road.
The driver lost control of the car attempting to pass a 2017 Jeep Wrangler driven by Clinton Schulte, 53, Haysville, on the left shoulder.
The Infiniti struck the Jeep and then spun across the left lane and into the right lane striking a 2013 Chevy Sonic driven by Ashley Bradley, 22, Junction City.
After impact, the Infiniti traveled off the south edge of the road, rolled, and came to rest in the ditch.
EMS transported Thomas to Via Christi. Schulte was not injured and Bradley was not transported for treatment. All three drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.*

Shorty after 9am on Wednesday, the Riley County Police Department asked the public to avoid eastbound Fort Riley Blvd at Miller Parkway while crews work a three car crash with a rollover.
