Much cooler temperatures are expected today before moderating by weeks end. Highs today through Thursday will be some 10 to 20 degrees below normal for early September.
Geary County Emergency Management provided information from the National Weather Service that indicated lows this week will also be cooler than normal with lows in the 40s and 50s forecast. Periods of showers with a few thunderstorms are expected today through Friday . Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible through Friday.
