Gregory Preston Scott, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Friday, December 19, 2025, in Manhattan, Kansas. He was born on February 27, 1951, to his parents, Walter Lewis and Virginia Mae (Fulwider) Scott, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Greg was an animal lover who showed great compassion and care for all animals, but especially dogs. He volunteered at several animal rescues and cared for many dogs in his lifetime. His latest buddy was his dog Oliver who he doted on and dearly loved, as well as his brother's dog Dingo, who Greg always brought treats to. Greg also enjoyed bicycling, camping, and rooting for his favorite team, the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Greg is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Snyder) Scott, Russellville, AR; his brother, Reed Scott, Manhattan, KS; and two nephews, Matthew and Andrew Scott.He was preceded in death by both of his parents.There will be no service at this time.
