K-State Credit Union announced that on February 16, they presented a check for $6156 to Wonder Workshop Children’s Museum. These funds were raised during kstate CREDIT UNION’s annual employee jeans donation charity program. The program allows Credit Union employees to wear jeans at work throughout the year, in exchange for a $5 charitable donation per day. They can choose to donate in a lump sum or have the money payroll deducted. Employees select a local organization to receive the proceeds from this year-long program.

LaRae Kraemer, President/CEO for kstate CREDIT UNION said, “Giving back is part of who we are. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Wonder Workshop and their important mission.

Wonder Workshop is a non-profit children’s museum that opened its doors here in Manhattan in 1994. It provides a learning space designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning through play and hands-on exploration.
