MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities investigating a sexual assault have made an arrest.
On November 24, police filed a report for rape and aggravated criminal sodomy in Manhattan involving a 12-year-old girl as the victim and a 23-year-old man known to her as the suspect, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
On Monday afternoon. police arrested Tavian Garrett, 23, of Manhattan on on requested charges that include five counts of rape and five counts of aggravated criminal sodomy. Garrett is being held on a bond of $350,000.00, according to the RCPD.
