City release
The City of Manhattan announced that starting Monday, June 9, the first phase of Anderson Avenue water, street, and stormwater improvements will begin, starting with the section between Connecticut Avenue and Timberlane Drive/College Heights Road.
While this section will not be fully closed, it will have shifting lane closures and many residential intersections will be closed. Through traffic may prefer to use other east-west arterials such as Claflin Road, Fort Riley Boulevard, and Kimball Avenue.
Residential streets that will not be able to access Anderson during this phase are:
- College Heights Road
- Rebecca Road
- Sycamore Lane
- Timberlane Drive
- Woodland Street
