MANHATTAN —One person was injured in an accident just after 8a.m. Friday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2019 Kia Sportage driven by Mary Margaret Keithley, 81, Manhattanm struck a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Elizabeth Marie Passmore, 36, of St. George in the 300 block of N. 5th Street.
Passengers in the Pacifica included Elsie Passmore, 7, Penelope Passmore 6, and Dominic Passmore, 3.
EMS transported Keithley to Via Christi Hospital for her injuries and issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign. Passmore and three children in the Chrysler were not injured.
