Kansas felon accused of criminal threat, probation violation

RILEY COUNTY—A Kansas felon is back in jail after an arrest in Manhattan.

Just after 1p.m. Tuesday, police arrested 26-year-old Brandon Norris of Topeka in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Norris was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. The original charge in this matter is for criminal threat. He remains in custody on a bond of $50,000, according to the RCPD.  Norris has previous convictions for theft and for falsely reporting a crime, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
