RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating an alleged scam in Riley County.
Just after 6p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report of fraud in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report. A 35-year-old man reported an unknown suspect claimed to be calling from his bank, asking the victim to CashApp funds to a different account.
The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,364.92.
