K-State has announced that the Kansas State University Police Department is now part of the Riley County emergency radio system. This countywide radio system allows first responders to communicate with each other during emergencies.
Agencies using the radio system include Riley County Police Department, Manhattan Fire Department, Riley County Emergency Medical Services and Riley County Fire.
