Kansas State University announced that effective Wednesday, June 2, the university will change the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.k-state.edu/covid-19/guidance/health/face-covering.html">face covering&nbsp;</a>and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.k-state.edu/covid-19/guidance/health/distancing.html">physical distancing</a>&nbsp;guidance.

Face coverings and physical distancing are optional for all individuals on K-State campuses and at university events. Unvaccinated students, faculty and staff who can receive the COVID-19 vaccine are encouraged to do so.

Masking and physical distancing requirements remain in effect for the following groups and settings:
