Manhattan - Ogden USD 383 has issued a school bus - student safety reminder ahead of the 2024 - 2025 school year.
--Always follow the speed limit, especially within school zones.
--Keep an eye out for pedestrians and bicyclists - many of our students walk or ride their bikes.
--When approaching a crosswalk, make sure it is empty before continuing.
--Drivers from either direction must stop when approaching a stopped school bus that has flashing red lights and the stop arm in use.
School begins next week in the District. Tuesday, August 13 is a 1/2 day for students in grades K-9 and new MHS students. All K-12 students attend on Wednesday, August 14 for a full day. Early Learning starts on Monday, August 19.
