WABAUNSEE COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Friday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Leea S. Brown, 61, Morganfield, Kentuky, was westbound on Interstate 70 at the Flintview Road overpass. The SUV struck the right guard rail and the driver overcorrected. The SUV struck the left guard rail and came to rest in the passing lane.
EMS transported Brown and passenger Victoria L. Pruitt, 31, Henderson, Kentucky to Stormont Vail. A six-month old Kansas girl was not injured. Henderson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
