Overland Park, Kan. – Jan. 19, 2022 – Kansas Gas Service is partnering with Kansas agencies to assist customers with completing Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) applications. LIEAP, which is administered through the Kansas Department of Children and

Kansas Gas Service representatives will be available at several community events to help fill out and submit required forms and answer customers’ questions about their natural gas accounts.

The income eligibility limit for the 2022 LIEAP program is 150% of the federal poverty income. Individuals with a gross monthly income of up to $1,610 are eligible to apply. The application period for LIEAP funds ends March 31.

On Feb. 15 this will be the location for one of the community events. Shepherd's Crossing Manhattan 621 Humboldt St, Manhattan, KS 66502 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
