MANHATTAN - On Sunday, April 14th, just before 2:00 am, Riley County officers on duty in Aggieville heard what sounded like a gunshot coming from the 1100 block of Moro Street.
Officers located a 22-year old man being detained by a bouncer. After questioning the man, officers determined he had a head injury and called Riley County EMS to come evaluate him.
RCPD officers escorted the man to the Aggieville Substation to meet RCEMS there for further evaluation.
Officers then found that the man had a gunshot wound in his right thigh. The man was then transported to Ascension Via Christi by RCEMS for treatment of his injuries.
