Officials have announced that City of Manhattan offices will be closed Tuesday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
Flint Hills Discovery Center (FHDC) will provide free Veterans Day admission to all Gold Star Families, active-duty and reserve military, veterans, and their families from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All active-duty military members, veterans, their families, and Gold Star families also are invited to come spend the day with Sunset Zoo from 12 to 5 p.m.
Finally, the Ice Rink will be open Tuesday, November 11 from 12 to 5 p.m. and will offer free admission to all Gold Star Families, active-duty and reserve military, veterans, and their families.
