Chase Riley Tyrell, 16, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on February 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will take place Monday, February 26, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Dirk Westerman.
He was born on December 31, 2007, to Craig and Brenda (Beers) Tyrell in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Growing up in Kansas, allowed him to hone in on his outdoor skills such as hunting, camping, and of course fishing. Chase spent most of his summers outdoors and had great respect for the wilderness. One of the biggest fish he ever caught was a 15 pound Blue catfish at Milford State Park, Kansas. He shared his passion with his parents and showed them the ropes of outdoor living.
He is survived by his loving parents; one brother, Christopher Tyrell; two grandmothers, Betty Beers and Patsy Tyrell and a host of other loving family and friends. He is preceded by his two grandfathers, Chris Tyrell and LeRoy Beers.
