Madalyn Schumacher, 75, of Wamego,  passed away at Sunday, March 26th, at her home in Wamego.

Born
 in Hastings, Nebraska, on July 25, 1947, Madalyn Schumacher was the 
daughter of the late Mary Lou (Naylor) and Dallas C Douglas.  She 
graduated from Riley Co. High School in 1966. On Oct. 11, 1991, she was 
joined in marriage with Ernest R. White in Manhattan and he survives.  
She was employed as the Animal Shelter/ACO supervisor at the T. Russell 
Reitz Animal Shelter in Manhattan from 1990-2012. Prior to that she 
worked at a pet shop in Aggieville.

Madalyn is  
survived by her husband Ernest of the home; a daughter, Aundria Downey, 
of Gladstone, MO; and a sister Karla Baker, of Holton, Kansas
