MANHATTAN - On Monday, March 27th, Kansas Gas Service will begin work to replace an 8-inch valve on 10th Street between Fort Riley Boulevard and Yuma Street.

According to the City of Manhattan, the entire section of 10th Street west of the Douglass Activity Center will be inaccessible, including access to El Paso Lane.
Douglass Activity Center will remain open to the public, but there will be no parking available on 10th Street nearest the center.
Drivers who use 10th Street to access Fort Riley Boulevard will need to detour east to Juliette Avenue or west to Manhattan Avenue to access Fort Riley Boulevard.
Weather permitting the project is expected to take approximately 2 weeks to complete.
