According to the City of Manhatttan crews were out Sunday pre-treating major roadways, hills, bridges, and areas around schools in preparation for tomorrow’s expected snowfall.
Snow is expected to begin around 8:00 AM Monday, with accumulating snow likely mid to late morning. 1–3 inches of light, fluffy snow is currently forecast. The pre-treatment should help reduce sticking and slow accumulation.
Anderson Avenue, which reopened Sunday, has also been pre-treated. Based on the latest guidance, the City anticipates it will remain open through mid-morning or noon, and may close following the morning rush depending on accumulation.
