RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30a.m. Friday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy 2500 driven by John D. Ray, 22, Lake Winnebago, Missouri, was southbound on U.S. 24 four miles east of Riley. The pickup traveled off the road to the west and the driver lost control of the vehicle. It crossed back over onto U.S. 24, traveled off the road a second time into the east ditch and rolled onto the drivers side.
EMS transported Ray to Via Christi in Manhattan. The KHP did not have seat belt usage details.
