Christopher Antijuan "Tiny" Purdie

 Christopher Antijuan "Tiny" Purdie, 33, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his home. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at New Church of the Living God with Pastor James E. Johnson officiating.

Christopher was born February 12, 1989, in Birmingham, AL the son of Christina Purdie.

Christopher graduated from Junction City High School with the class of 2007. Chris worked at Smithfield in Junction City, KS for nearly ten years.

Chris enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed cooking and playing video games. Chris enjoyed watching all sports. His favorite team was the University of Alabama. He was known as a gentle giant teddy bear. Chris lived for the moment and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a protector and care giver and would do anything he could. He would give his last to help anyone. He took great pride in taking care of his mother Christina who passed away March 21, 2022.

Survivors include his brother, Eric B. Nabors, Jr. of Killeen, TX; one sister, Nikita N. Nabors of Junction City, KS; one aunt, Carsandra Cunningham of Junction City, KS; one brother-in-law, Freddy Krugle of Junction City, KS; one sister-in-law of Killeen, TX; one nephew, Josiah and one niece, Xena; a host of other relative and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christina Purdie.
