MANHATTAN - Riley County Police Department is searching for the person in the pictures below in connection with a recent car burglary around Fairmont Park.
The vehicle involved in the burglary was identified by officers who pursued the vehicle for a short time.
RCPD says the person pictured, along with another individual, ran from the vehicle and police in the 900 block of Denison Avenue.
RCPD says it's likely the pair may attempt to steal another vehicle in order to leave the area.
USD 383 was notified of the incident and both the Lee Elementary School and College Hill Early Learning Centers have been placed on secure campus to ensure safety of students and staff.
