Manhattan Regional Airport set all-time passenger records for the second consecutive year. The City announced that the airport recorded 83,220 enplanements and 166,623 total passengers on American Airlines—both surpassing records set in 2024 and reflecting continued growth in regional demand.

May 2025 marked a historic milestone as the first month to exceed 8,000 boardings, with 8,360 enplanements. Over the full year, MHK logged 30,568 aircraft operations, including commercial service, general aviation, and 119 military and athletic charter flights—demonstrating the airport’s vital role in serving residents, business partners, K-State, and Fort Riley.

Infrastructure investments also advanced in 2025. The airport opened eight new general aviation hangars—the first in more than two decades—expanding capacity and supporting increased activity. Design work also began on the reconstruction of Taxiway Alpha, a critical project that will further enhance safety and efficiency as MHK continues to build momentum into 2026.
