Shurie Ann James - 1966 - 2022

On Thursday, June 9, 2022 God called Shurie Ann James home to be forever in His presence at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. Cremation will take place. A celebration of life service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Living Word International Ministries located at 1704 St. Mary's Road in Junction City. Pastor Clarence Williams, III will officiate.

Shurie Ann James was born October 13, 1966 in Greenfield, IN the daughter of Jerry and Sharon (Penley) Marks.

Shurie was a fun loving and vibrant woman who loved her family and loved God. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

On July 1, 1991, she married Clarence James in Greenfield, IN.

She is survived by her husband Clarence; five children, Kody Roberts, Kaleb James, Kevin James, Kristian James and Angiel James; ten grandchildren; one brother, Michael Marks; one sister, Kristine Williston and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon McConnell and her sister Heather McConnell.
