RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal accident that occurred just before 11p.m. Monday in Riley County have identified the victim as 37-year-0ld Jason Bly of Manhattan, according to a media release from the Riley County Police Department.
Bly was driving a 2000 Toyota Celica westbound in the 1800 Block of Anderson Avenue when it crossed over traffic and struck a retaining wall. Bly was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the RCPD..
Authorities released no additional details early Tuesday.

Riley County police have confirmed that Anderson Ave. in Manhattan has now been reopened from Sunset Ave. to 17th Street. It had been shut down during the early morning hours while emergency crews worked at the scene of a fatality accident.
Police reported that a vehicle heading westbound crossed over traffic and struck a retaining wall.
