Put Oct. 10 on your calendar when the Riley County Police Department will celebrate 50 years of consolidation with a carnival themed event. There will be games, a cake walk, police cars and fire trucks, and more.
The event will run from -7 p.m. in Cico Park.
Riley County has consolidated law enforcement service.
