Rita F. Alexander 95 of Clifton, Ks died Saturday March 16, 2024, at Presbyterian Manor Clay Center, Ks.
She was born May 6, 1928, to Henry and Veronica (Ekart) Ruhkamp in Marysville Ks. She attended St. Johns Catholic school in Hanover, Ks. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Clifton, Ks.
She Married Lawrence (Bus) Alexander on November 4, 1947, at St. Johns Baptist Catholic Church ‘in Hanover Kansas. To this union 7 children were born. Rita was a housewife and home maker. She loved to crochet, quiltting, sewing, playing cards, loved to cook, and baked for different events and organizations and family get togethers and a mean coconut cream pie and cinnamon rolls to die for. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was a member St. Mary’s Alter Society and Clifton America Legion Auxiliary.
Rita is survived by Kathleen (Jerry) Sorrell if Clyde Kansas, David (Linda) Alexander of Kerrville, TX, Ronald (Nanay) Alexander Emporia, Ks, Danial Aleander of Salina, Ks., Dennis (Carol) Alexander of Clifton, Ks., Cynthia (Randy) Dugan of El Dorado, Ks., Phyllis (Lowell) Reith of Salina, Ks., and one sister in law Nan Alexander of Sahse, Tx and numerous grandchildren, Great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and Numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death of her husband Lawrence (Bus), her parents Henry and Veronica Ruhkamp, sisters Lela Moravek and Delores Keiffer and 2 grandsons Joe Sorell and Treff Alexander.
Visitations will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clifton, Ks Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
Funeral services will be 10: 00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church
