Starting Monday, September 22, Shilling Construction will begin a milling and overlay project on Yuma Street, from 4th Street to 10th Street.
(This work originally was set to begin August 25 but was delayed by the contractor.)
While this section of Yuma will not be fully closed, it will be subject to shifting lane closures. Through traffic is encouraged to use other residential streets or Fort Riley Boulevard. Douglass Recreational Complex will remain accessible from 10th Street.
Please drive safely in this area, follow signage and look out for construction workers!
Expect light to moderate traffic and likely some delays on 4th Street, 10th Street, Fort Riley Boulevard, Juliette Avenue, and Yuma Street.
