Mary Marshall was born on June 4, 1957, to William and Mary Hall in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. She was baptized on June 4, 1957, and confirmed in her faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Clarks Creek Road in Junction City, Kansas, by Rev. Myers on February 5, 2017.
Mary married Josef Marshall on March 31, 1980.
She is survived by her spouse, Josef Marshall, and her daughters, Jessica Crespo (married to Mark Crespo) and Jasmine Nixon. Grandchildren; Justice Greule, Matt Powell, Ashely & Matt Atkins, Arianna Crespo, Xavier Crespo, Jewell Nixon IV, Jalyssa Nixon, Javontai Nixon, Jordan Nixon, Joshua Marshall Jr., Octavia & Clayton Box, Devon Marshall, Jade Marshall, Cadyn Allen, and Lily Allen. Great-Grandchildren: Ezra Atkins, Rosalie Perez, Lilliana Perez, Winnie Donlon-Nixon, Easton Box, and Madelyn Box.
Mary is also survived by her sister Pamela Hulen (married to Robert Hulen), sister-in-law Cindy Hall, and brothers William Hall (married to Kim Hall) and Wesley Hall (married to Anne Hall). She was preceded in death by her son Joshua Marshall, her parents William and Mary Hall, and her brother Thomas Hall.
Her extended family includes Jewell Nixon III, Charlie Nixon, Brithany Nixon & son, Jasmine Nixon & family, Dyan & Cato Allen, and Jenny Campbell.
Mary was the owner of Mary’s Pet Grooming for around 15 years and co-owner of M & L Services. Mary had a full life, was loved, and loved her animals too.
Mary passed away July 18, 2025.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 9719 Clarks Creek Road, Junction City, KS 66441.
