Summer is a great time for kids to get caught up on vaccinations for school.
Walk-in appointments are available at the Riley County Health Department, located at 2030 Tecumseh Road or you can call them at (785) 776-4779 ext. 7675 to schedule an appointment.
They're open:
Mon-Wed: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thurs: noon – 6 p.m.
Fri: 8:30 - 11 a.m.
The health department accepts most major health insurance (except Tricare Prime and Cigna). They are not a free clinic, but those WITHOUT health insurance will only pay $20 for the first vaccination and $18 for each additional vaccination. They accept Medicare and Medicaid - there’s no charge for people with state Medicaid plans.
