Manhattan City oficials have announced that Anderson Avenue will be fully closed November 21–26 for concrete paving and major waterline work. After that, westbound lanes stay closed through November 29, while eastbound traffic reopens.
The closure area will be from Connecticut Ave. to Canfield Drive.
Local access will be available to Timberlane Drive and Bellehaven Road residents, emergency vehicles and those with driveways in the work zone.
Detour will be from Sunset Ave to Claflin Rd to Seth Child Rd. Plan for moderate delays around Anderson, College Ave, College Heights Rd, Connecticut Ave, and Hylton Heights Rd.
Work is expected to take 7–10 days, weather permitting.
