RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged identity theft in Manhattan.
Just after 4p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report of forgery/making false information/theft by deception in the 5100 block of Bramblewood Drive, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 44-year-old man reported an unknown suspect obtained the victim's information and produced an unauthorized check from his account.
