
Fort Riley announced via social media Tuesday that due to a lapse in federal appropriations, many civilian employees at Fort Riley were furloughed. As a result: Emails and phone calls to affected civilian would not be answered.
Many social media channels would be unmonitored
Some services may be limited or temporarily unavailable.
Normal operations will resume once federal funding is restored.
Fort Riley will continue to deliver life, health and safety services. Irwin Army Community Hospital remains open 24/7 to provide emergency and inpatient care.
