David Marcus Juarez died November 2, 2023. Born January 22, 1953 in Oakland, California to mother Elva Alvarado and father Julio Juarez. Graduate of Tennyson High School in Hayward, California where he ran track and loved hitting foul baseballs; David dedicated 22 years of honorable service in the US Navy and US Coast Guard. David enjoyed watching baseball and war documentaries, cooking shows, as well as cooking for others, Lifetime and Hallmark channels, but most of all he enjoyed the company of his family.

David married Ronita Ann Persing on December 18th, 1974. He is proceeded in death by his father Julio, wife Roni and grandson Tyler. He is survived by his mother Elva Alvarado Juarez, sisters Cathe Drewes and Christina Curie, and brothers Dennis Juarez and Chris Juarez. He is survived by his 5 children Opal, Stephanie, Geoff, Domanic and Donald. Grandfather to 5 and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church in Junction City, KS with internment services at Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Manhattan, KS at 12 p.m. pm on November 28, 2023.&nbsp; Pastor Bill Draper will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 1407 St. Marys Rd, Junction City, KS 66441.&nbsp;
