George N. Lambert, age 92, of St. George, died Thursday February 17, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1929. On November 18, 1950 in Clyde, Kansas he was united in marriage to Charlotte Trimble. George served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter in the area for many years. He and Charlotte are members of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Flush. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; his son David, and his daughter Lorie; and also, his three grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 22, 2022 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan, with Father Mike Peterson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow the service at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Flush. The Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502, is assisting the family with the service arrangements.
