Tuesday is primary election day. Poll are open until 7 p.m.
In Riley County registered voters will be casting ballots in a pair of county commission races. In the 2nd District on the Republican ticket there are three candidates including Philip Mattox, Greg McKinley and Marvin Rodriguez. They are vying to advance to the November general election to meet Democrat Fanny Fang.
In the 3rd District Riley County Commission race Republicans John Matta and Ron Wells are on the ballot.
Also, in the 22nd District Kansas Senate race Republicans Craig Bowser and Bryan Pruitt are running with the primary election winner advancing to meet Democrat Tom Hawk in the November general election.
In Pottawatomie County three Republicans are vying for the county clerk's post including Leslie Dugan, Dawn Henry and Wendy Hudson. In the 2nd District Pottawatomie County Commission race the candidate include Republicans Nancy McCarter and Dennis Pat Weixelman. For sheriff Michael Baker Sr. and Shane Jager, Republicans are on the ballot.
Little Apple Post will have unofficial election results Tuesday evening.
