Join Sunset Zoo for their annual hometown family-friendly holiday event, Santa's Luminary Trail on Saturday, November 30th and Sunday, December 1st from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Current Friends of Sunset Zoo Members receive exclusive early entry at 4:30pm.
Guests will enjoy holiday lights all along the African Trail Loop, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus inside the Nature Exploration Center where you can take pictures, enjoy warm drinks, sweet treats, arts and crafts, story time and animal encounters.. "Bringing the community together is part of what we do at Sunset Zoo to inspire conservation of the natural world as part of our mission. We hope all who attend learn a little more about animal conservation and have a wonderful start to the holiday season," said Scott Shoemaker, Director of Sunset Zoo.
This holiday event is in its fifth year at Sunset Zoo and is a way to bring the community together at the Zoo during a different season of the year. Proceeds from the event help with overall conservation efforts of the zoo and the event is hosted by the Friends of Sunset Zoo.
