The City of Junction City issued a release saying that the Land Bank and City Commission meetings scheduled for tonight have been cancelled due to the storm.
Power outages occurred in the Junction City area. By morning fewer than five outages remained.
Junction City police and fire have been helping to help restore power along with Evergy. Tree damage has been confirmed at multiple sites, with Jackson to Jefferson an area especially mentioned.
