After every K-State home football game, RCPD officers, K-State Police and the Highway Patrol work to keep traffic moving safely as fans leave the stadium.
The RCPD said that the goal is simple — to get everyone out of the area quickly and safely. To do that, they execute a postgame traffic plan. There’ll notice cones, barricades, and officers directing traffic. Please be patient and understand that officers are following a comprehensive plan developed not only by the RCPD but in coordination with all of our community emergency services, as well as K-State Athletics.
