OGDEN - On Thursday May 16, around 8:15 pm, crews from Riley County Fire District #1 were paged out to Ogden on the report of a vehicle fire.
When crews arrived on the 100 block of 8th Street, they found 2 vehicles on fire and the fire had spread to a neighboring mobile home.
Twenty-four fire personnel and volunteers responded to the fire with 6 fire apparatus to extinguish the fire.
Both vehicles are a total loss and the mobile home received minor damage. Total damage for the incident is $82,000.
No injuries were reported.
Both RCPD and the Kansas Fire Marshal are investigating the fire.
Just after 9:30p.m. Thursday, officers filed a report of aggravated arson and arson in connection with the fire, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 57-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man reported a known suspect pour gas onto a vehicle and set it on fire.
