Washington, D.C. – Representative Tracey Mann has announced his newest staff member who will be working in the Big First District and be based out of the Manhattan District Office.
District Agriculture Representative Sarah Henry will travel the district meeting with agriculture stakeholders and producers. She has spent the last five and a half years advocating for agriculture in various roles both on and off Capitol Hill. Prior to joining Rep. Mann’s team, she worked for Rep. Adrian Smith, the House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee, and most recently the National Corn Growers Association. She is a graduate of Iowa State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in agriculture education. Henry and her husband Dalton live on a farm north of Manhattan where they have a cow calf and hay operation.
The First District is one of the largest agriculture districts in the country.
“Kansas agriculture is my highest priority and I am pleased to have Sarah on the team," said Rep. Mann. "Her background in agriculture, deep knowledge of agriculture policy, and current involvement in production agriculture make her perfectly suited to advocate for Kansas farmers and ranchers.”
